Memorial Day

Memorial Day Memorial Day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.  Some ways you can show honor and respect on Memorial Day is to display the American flag. You can visit one of the VA's National Cemeteries for Memorial Day Ceremony (you can check the location of the closest one on the website of the US Department of Veterans Affairs), or go to a local cemetery and decorate the graves of fallen soldiers with flags and flowers-a great way to pay respect to those who fought for us.    Some interesting facts are that several towns claim to be originators of Memorial Day, but in 1966 Congress declared Waterloo, New York, to be the birthpla

Once you forgive you feel better about yourself. You also feel more peaceful. An example is that if you and your brother had a big fight and it hurt you. You should still forgive him because no matter how long ago that fight was from he's still your brother. Plus once you forgive him you won't be angry at him anymore. Another example is if someone was once drunk driving and they crash a car. They will go to jail and then if the car was broken really badly the owners will be very angry at the person.
