Memorial Day Memorial Day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.  Some ways you can show honor and respect on Memorial Day is to display the American flag. You can also say thank you to someone who has served in the military (or is serving at the moment). You can either say thank you in person or you can write them a letter. Support of any kind is highly appreciated. We celebrated this day on Monday, February 19.
