Student Success Statement  ''I won't cheat'' Dale Murphy Dale Murphy showed people how it is bad to cheat. People shouldn't cheat. If you try to take the short cut you'll be wrong. Somethings you might cheat on are test or quizzes. Also in races or games. Today we saw an example of someone cheating in a running race by using a motorcycle to help him win. He didn't do what was right. You shouldn't cheat because cheating will bring you nowhere. When you cheat you won't truly accomplish what you wanted to. Cheating will bring you misery. No one should ever cheat in anything. Everyone would accomplish something on their own with no one to help help them. You won't learn anything when you cheat. You cheating will be disrespectful to yourself and to the person you might have copied from. You will be choosing the wrong if you cheat. 

''Character Matters Most.'' Dale Murphy This statement made by Dale Murphy is important. It shows how character is important. Someone who has good character does the right. Who you are as a person is important. An example for this quote is if you're taking a test and you don't cheat. That's showing good character. Another example is if you see someone who needs help crossing the street and you offer to help them. You're also showing good character. Now on the other hand someone people may not have good character. This is bad. Its bad because you're not choosing the right and you're being disrespectful. Some examples of having a bad character is if you cheat on a test. Its wrong because cheating on a test won't get you anywhere in life because you're not learning correctly. Another example is if a teacher calls on you and you get mad at them. That's not having good character. You're disobeying them and disrespecting them.

Benjamin Franklin What Benjamin Franklin is trying to say is that when you have a good heart you're a better person. Having a good heart is good. For example, today we saw a video on how this one kid who is 15 years old (freshman) he won a game for his dad. His dad is currently sick and he might not be there next year because of his sickness. So the boy decides to go to the gym everyday at 6 am to work out. He would also practice every single day even when there wasn't after school practice. He was dedicated to win this game for his dad. When it was game day the boy won the championship and he went to hug his dad. His dad was very happy because he won the game for him. This shows that he has a good  heart and that hes caring. He demonstrates this because not everyone thinks like that, that they will win someth

Student Success Statement ''It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today.'' James Freeman Clarke This statement is about how one difference can make a change. An example we saw today was that this one little kid died on cancer. Everyone in the community gathered together to set of some lamps on his birthday. They all loved Jayden. Because of his pass people started to pay it forward. What that meant was that is someone does something nice the others have to pay it forward and do something for others. His parents loved him very much.

Otto Graham,Jr. When you see something valuable or something you found ask yourself what is the right thing to do with it.Foe example we saw a video of a lady who lost her engagement ring. She was walking and then she saw a homeless man with a cup. She then put money in there but her ring went in there too. The man said that he went to a jewelry store to see if it was worth anything and it was. It was worth $4,000. He could have sold it for the money but he chose not to. After a few days latter he saw the lady who lost the ring and gave it to her. She was very pleased. Since he was a good man she told her fiance about it and they pit up a website for people to donate money based on the story. They thought that they were only going to raise a little bit of money but they raised about $180000. Presidents Day Monday February 19                              Washington's birthday is a United States federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States, who was born on February 22, 1732. We celebrated this day on Monday, February 19. The origin of Presidents Day lies in the 1880's, when the birthday of Washington-commander of the Continental Army during the American Revolution and the first president of the United States-was first celebrated as a federal holiday. In 1968 Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Bill, which moved a number of federal holidays to Mondays.  Some ways to honor and show respect on Presidents Day is to learn all 44 presidents' names. Tour the White house. You can do an activity that will teach students all that is required of a president. The president wears many hats, and bears a lot or responsibility. George Washington is also saying that if you do make friends with people who have bad intentions you might do something you might regret. An example of this is that if you're with people who drink. They might convince you to do what they were doing and you might regret it. You might also get hurt.

'' Right is right only when entire.'' Victor Hugo What Victor Hugo is trying to say is that you're not doing the right if you lie a little. In order to do the right you have to be honest. Always be honest and good will happen. An example of this quote is if you're doing a test and you answer all the questions truthfully but one. That one question that you cheated on is wrong because you're not doing everything right. Another example is if you find 6 dollars in cash and then the person who's money it belong to ask if you could give it back. An you give him only 4 because you wanted to keep 2. And then you tell them you only found 4 dollars that's doing the wrong. Just because you give them some of the money doesn't mean you're doing the right. You're only giving them half and that's bad. If you want to be a good person you have to be honest. It doesn't matter if you tell partially of the lie it has to be the entire thing.

Three you'll get something in return for doing whats right. If the return is not financially then you will get it sooner or later by god. So in return good will come. An example to this quote is if you see an old lady and she needs help crossing because shes blind. And you choose to help her cross the street that's choosing the right. You're taking you're own time to help someone in need. Once you guys cross and she says thank you. You might not get anything in return from them but something good will happen to you.
