What Sophocles is trying to say is that its better to do the right than wrong. Honoring is something beautiful and cheating is something ugly. Its better to be a good person than being bad. Today we saw an a video of Mitchel winning the wrestling game for his dad who has cancer. The guy who Mitchel was wrestling with did a very honorable thing. He went up to Mitchel's dad and congratulated him and gave him a hug. He also told Mitchel to stay strong. That was very honorable and kind thing to do. We also saw a video of someone cheating and doing the wrong. This guy was trying to win a horse race and when he was close to the finish line someone took of picture of him and close to his hand you can see something. In his hand he had a shock thing to shock the hoarse in order for him to go faster and win the race. The guy got cause cheating and was charged money. He did the wrong. Its not right to cheat. Instead be a good person and do whats right.

Nelson What Russel Nelson is saying is that you shouldn't always copy and do the same thing everyone else is doing because you never know if something is wrong. An example of this is, if you see people cheating on a test. You will then do it too but its doing the wrong. Its wrong to cheat because once you cheat you will never stop and its not right. Its also wrong to cheat because if you cheat your whole life when you work in the career you trained for you're not going to know whats going on. Another example is if you're at a party and you see people and kids smoking. They're going to tell you if you want some and since everyone else is doing it you're going to do it too. An example of having good character is if you're helping a elder cross the street. That's showing good character because you're helping someone and you're being caring. You're taking some time away to help someone and do good. An example of having bad character is when the teacher calls on you to do a problem and you respond back with attitude saying no and how you didn't even raise your hand. This example that I will say is an example of having good character and knowing your intelligent. Lets say that you're a good person as if you do all your homework, you help the environment after school, and you're good at playing basketball. Forgive

Student Success Statement ''When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive.'' Alan Paton What Alan Paton is saying is that forgiveness is healing. It's important to forgive. Once you forgive you feel better about yourself. You also feel more peaceful. An example is that if you and your brother had a big fight and it hurt you. You should still forgive him because no matter how long ago that fight was from he's still your brother. Plus once you forgive him you won't be angry at him anymore. Another example is if someone was once drunk driving and they crash a car. They will go to jail and then if the car was broken really badly the owners will be very angry at the person. But sooner or later if the person ask for forgiveness they should forgive them. Because if they beg for your forgiveness or not it shows that they care and they truly feel sorry. Plus you'll feel better once you forgive them.
