Abraham Lincoln This student success statement is about how you should always be true to yourself and others. When you're true to yourself you show that you respect yourself. You should always stand for what you believe is right. When you stand up for your right/ what you believe in you're being true to yourself. An example of standing for whats right is if your friends want to go smoke and they invite you. Maybe a part of you would want to go because you want to fit in with them but you know its not right. There you are being true to yourself because you know it's wrong so you won't go and join them. Another example is if you're taking a test and your friend asked you form the side to let them copy. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under direction of nursing and medical staff. Student Success Statement ''Character is higher than intellect.'' Ralph Waldo Emerson What Ralph Waldo Emerson is saying is that character is key. Everything you do involves character. An example of having good character is if you're helping a elder cross the street. That's showing good character because you're helping someone and you're being caring. You're taking some time away to help someone and do good. An example of having bad character is when the teacher calls on you to do a problem and you respond back with attitude saying no and how you didn't even raise your hand. This example that I will say is an example of having good character and knowing your intelligent. Lets say that you're a good person as if you do all your homework, you help the environment after school, and you're good at playing basketball. Always try your best. You should never give up on something you want to accomplish or achieve. For example, Tyler got kicked out of his team when he was in 3th grade. He decides to work harder to get better. He did get better he later on went to Brigham Young University. He made a big impact on the basketball winning. He broke the record of shooting in basketball in the whole school. So as you can see everything good you do will pay off. An example for this would be life you want to become a teacher. You first need to go to school and study because you won't be able to be one unless you study. If you give up later on it will not be payed off. '' True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right.'' Brigham Young Today we learned about doing what's right. This means that when you do whats right you get more freedom. You will become a better person doing whats right. An example is if you keep on doing your homework and being on time you will have more freedom later on. Also another example is if you follow everything and you're a good student. Later on in the future you will achieve everything you wanted in life. You'll have more freedom and liberty. To add on, once you achieve your goal you will be very happy with yourself. If you keep on doing the wrong people will not notice you as the good person but the bad. Also when you do bad you tend to loose privileges and freedom. If you want to live a free and honest life you should always do whats right. You will get more noticed as you do the right.

The truly good

Student Success Statement ''They're only truly great who are truly good.'' Goodness = Greatness  -George Chapman What this means is that you show who you really are when you're good. Once you do good you become a better person. Today we saw a video of this kid who was different from the others. He was a nobody and then the kids from the football team changed that. They let him play/ practice with them and he was able to score a touchdown. His parents were really happy. Also doing whats good is right. The team did something very good for the boy. The kid makes everyone happy and feel good. Everyone should be good because it'll make the world a better place. Goodness is great and everyone should do it. It'll make you a better person more happy and cheerful.

In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Cheating is the worse thing anyone can do. Using steroids when playing a sport is cheating. Its cheating because you're not really playing playing because the steroid is in you. An example of cheating is when you're taking a test and you don't know the answer to a problem. You then either get out your notes or whatever resource you have. On the other hand you might look at your partners work and then copy which is bad. Cheating won't make you accomplish anything.Once you cheat you can't go back. No one should every cheat in anything. Also because you get to express your own work of art. Showing who you are in clothing is inspiring to me. Fashion is art and you get to show people who you are. Its important because everyone is different in their own way and that's what fashion does.
