Eight Great Reasons to Tell the Truth

Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict.
Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished.
Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened.
You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).
Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.
You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value.
Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.

What Barbara is saying is that its important to tell the truth. Telling the truth will make you a better person. One you tell the truth people will have more trust in you and confide in you. Telling the truth will prevent having arguments and confusion. Also it helps from other people getting blamed. An example is if you and your friend are fighting because she feels as if you texted the boy she likes and flirted with him. And its the truth but you're denying it. Don't deny because its gonna get you guys in a lot of drama. Instead tell her the truth. Always tell the truth.

Forgive

Student Success Statement ''When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive.'' Alan Paton What Alan Paton is saying is that forgiveness is healing. It's important to forgive. Once you forgive you feel better about yourself. You also feel more peaceful. An example is that if you and your brother had a big fight and it hurt you. You should still forgive him because no matter how long ago that fight was from he's still your brother. Plus once you forgive him you won't be angry at him anymore. Another example is if someone was once drunk driving and they crash a car. They will go to jail and then if the car was broken really badly the owners will be very angry at the person. But sooner or later if the person ask for forgiveness they should forgive them. Because if they beg for your forgiveness or not it shows that they care and they truly feel sorry. Plus you'll feel better once you forgive them.
