What Ralph Waldo Emerson is saying is that character is key. Everything you do involves character. An example of having good character is if you're helping a elder cross the street. That's showing good character because you're helping someone and you're being caring. You're taking some time away to help someone and do good. An example of having bad character is when the teacher calls on you to do a problem and you respond back with attitude saying no and how you didn't even raise your hand. This example that I will say is an example of having good character and knowing your intelligent. Lets say that you're a good person as if you do all your homework, you help the environment after school, and you're good at playing basketball. Then there's this other kid who does bad in school, never listens, but is also better at basketball. The coaches will most likely pick the person with better attitude because in order to be in a sport you one need to be good at it and two you need to have good character. So doing good is whats best for everyone.

Final

Class Evaluation 1. The things I liked about this class was meeting new people. As well as improving my typing skills. I also like how we did a goals planning journal so achieve our goals.  2. Things I did not like about the class was how we did we did the same thing like everyday. Also that we weren't allowed to use phones or listen to music. 3. My recommendations for improving the class is to let us listen to music or if we can recommend music for you to play. Also to change everyday up. For example one day we do student success and one day we don't. Also maybe do more partner projects.  4. Yes, I am reading my Life Goals Journal at least five minutes daily. I like to keep myself updated with my life. I also know that I want to achieve most of my goals and that is why I write more and more. 5. Albert Einstein I agree with Albert Einstein, just because you see popular people doing something it ain't always going to be the right thing. Also you shouldn't try to be like someone you're not. Always be you. Now if you don't follow others you must be doing the right. An example to doing the right that isn't popular is going to hospitals and helping out. People might think you're weird or something but you're doing the right. You are also following your heart and being who your are. An example of doing what the ''popular'' people are doing and it isn't right. When you see them doing drugs and drinking alcohol. You might think you're fitting in but you're just hurting yourself.
