Softball Game
Western Oregon vs Central Washington
''Its A Great Moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.''
Coach Pam Knox
This story is about that there was a softball game. There was this one girl named Sarah Tucholsky who had never hit the ball out of the field but this time she did. When she hit it she ran to the first base and then she hurt her leg. She couldn't get up to run to the other base. Coach Pam Knox asked if her team members could go help her out or if they could switch a person with her so they could finish it. They said that her team members couldn't touch her or help her if they did they would get a point deducted. So her team members couldn't do anything. Now there were two girls from Central Washington named Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace. They decided to go help her out. They asked Sarah if it was okay for them to carry her and finish the game since she deserved it for hitting the ball out. She said yes and they carried her touching each base with her left foot. Everyone was very emotional for what they did to help her. Coach Pam Knox said,''Its a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.'' This is important because it shows the type pf person you are. You feel good when you do the right.
